1. Qualifications

Readers aged 15 and above are qualified to apply for a library card. Both Chinese and foreign people are able to apply for it. Your valid identification is necessary. Children younger than 6 years old are qualified to apply for parent-child reading card. Children aged between 6 and 14 could apply for Child’s Card.

3. Reporting Loss & Making up

Readers have to report loss to Changzhou Library in time. Before the report, reader is responsible for the result of others using the card. You are able to apply for a new card with your valid identification 7 days after the report.

4. Cancel

i) You can’t cancel your card within 30 days after you apply for it.

ii) Before canceling, you have to return all the borrowed books and audiovisual products and pay the late fee in order to get your deposit back.

iii) If you ask someone else to help you cancel your card, your valid identification is necessary when canceling.
